Clinic Nurse (RN/LPN)

The RN/LPN is responsible for monitoring the health of their patients and to facilitate quality patient care.

They provide assistance in answering patient phone calls, checking vital signs, and lab work. Other responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, dressing and bandaging wounds and watching changes that may occur on monitor readings.

LPN’s will also assist Registered Nurses in tasks that can be completed with their level of education.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Responsible for providing general nursing/CMA care to patients at the Child and in accordance with established practice standards.

Maintains courteous, professional relationships with medical providers, staff, patients, other healthcare facilities, service providers, and public. Knowledge of preauthorization as well as state and federal regulations.

Observes, records and reports patient’s condition including history, physical, vital signs, and reaction to drugs and treatments to medical provider. Documents verbal orders obtained from the medical provider.
